Insect God (2023)
This illustration is inspired by the poem "Insect God". It depicts the moment a little girl meets the insect god inside a crumbling ballroom. Unlike the original poem, I have designed the insect god to appear more friendly, aiming for an illustration that is spooky yet childlike.

The Mermaid (2023)
This illustration depicts an unconventional mermaid residing in a bathroom. I have incorporated fish and bubbles into the background to create surreal scenarios where it appears that either the fish and bubbles are floating in the room, or the room itself is submerged under water.
Please feel free to use or dispose any of my suggestions.

Death and the Maiden (2023)
In this illustration, I have depicted death as a skeleton dancing with a young maiden. The flowers on the skeleton are intertwined with it, symbolizing that life and death are inextricably linked, just like the maiden dancing with the skeleton.

The Fairy (2023)
In this painting, I depict a fairy interacting with cat, using the cat to emphasize the fairy's diminutive size. I have carefully portrayed the flowers in the background, employing color contrast to highlight the two main subjects of the picture: the fairy and the cat.

Cat Anatomy (2023)
Whenever I try to pick up my cat, her body stretches like cheese, which inspired this painting. Cats have excellent bouncing ability, so I've equipped her with springs where her feet are, and her eyes glow like light bulbs whenever she sees food. This illustration captures the moment I pick up my cat after she has knocked bread off the table.

The Feast (2023)
This illustration depicts stinky tofu, a traditional food from the city where I grew up. In this work, I experiment with two different expressions: one using only dots and lines to create the volume of the food, and the other by adding color.

Poster of Millennium Actress (2023)
This is the poster I made for Satoshi Kon's anime movie "Millennium Actress".

Germ Bouquet (2023)
This illustration is based on the article "Germs, Germs Everywhere. Are You Worried? Get Over it." from The New York Times. The main idea of the article is that not all bacteria are harmful; there are relatively friendly bacteria, and people don't have to worry too much about them. To depict the concept of friendly bacteria, I combined images of bacteria with a bouquet of flowers, as flowers often symbolize positive things.

Ghost Story (2023)
The painting depicts a first-person view through a peephole of a strange shadow outside the door. I aimed to use colors to create a scary atmosphere.

Night by the Sea (2023)
In this illustration, I want to experiment with how the color of light affects the perceived color of objects.

Kiss (2022)
I combine the topic of a kiss with the element of a puzzle. Whenever a pair of lovers kiss, it's just like they've found a corresponding piece of the puzzle for each other. This illustration is also an experiment with light.

Artemis (2022)
This is the illustration of Artemis, the Greek mythological goddess of the moon.
